TIDEMARKS
These art workshops encouraged participants to explore mark-making and create pigments using ingredients found in nature and the coastal landscape.
Participants had the opportunity to make their own brushes and tools for mark-making from materials foraged in nature, and combine these in a playful manner with paints and pigments made from organic raw materials.
Alongside pigments, participants also made their own brushes from materials such as driftwood and wild grasses, and combined these in a playful manner with their bespoke pigments.
This engaging workshop prompted reflection and learning about how to use nature creatively - celebrating the richness of coastal landscapes and the immersive quality of living by the sea.
